How can i convince my dad to stop being a jerk?

I agree going to a CC can make an easier transition and not put tons of pressure on you. Ask your dad why its so important to him that you go to the other school. You are old enough to make your own decisions and you shouldn't have to do something you are uncomfortable with. Listen to his reasoning and then let him know why you feel that the CC is the best choice for you.
