Transferring data from one PS3 that doesn't work to another? Please read the details I have another problem?

So my PS3 stopped working like a year ago. Every time I tried to turn it on the light would to yellow and back to red; some times the red would blink. So I don't have anymore warranty for my PS3. So should I give my PS3 to Sony for repairman's at the cost of $150 dollars with the chances of having the same troubleshooting problems again or buy a new PS3? PLEASE HELP!! And back to my main question if I buy a new PS3 how would I transfer all my data from my PS3 that doesn't work to a new one!?
