Issue with an older Curtis Mathis television set?

You have power supply problems and possible vertical problems. These faults can be caused by defective electrolytic capacitors. I would test each electrolytic with a ESR tester and replace the defective ones using desoldering wick and a good temperature controlled soldering iron. The problems usually associated with the vertical circuits may include cold solder connections on the output device. I would also purchase a schematic diagram online if available. This would help me immensely for troubleshooting with my oscilloscope and dvm if it comes to that.
