Why would refrigerator work better outside than inside the house?
Landlord has kenmore fridge inside house. I have lost over $125 in new groceries not to mention leftovers all within a week. Repairman came. Said defroster and door gaskets to be replaced. He replied and said defroster ok just door gaskets need replaced. I put in thermometer freezer -10 degrees (looked like snowcone maker exploded in freezer). Fridge 45 to 60 degrees. Way too warm to keep food. Since ll fridge been outside temps are fine. Over a week. 0 freezer and 30 to 40 in fridge. But its outside where anyone can access. Plugged in by ext cord to another outlet. Can it be the outlet in the house. I'm afraid to lose my food if i bring it back in. Please help me understand. When new fridge comes in house ill gauge that b4 my food goes in it. 125$ groceries in a wk to the garbage was painful.
