What is this furry bug with spots?

There is some weird type of bug I've seen two of in my boyfriend's basement...its about the size of a large spider. It moves really fast and has white spots down the middle of its back and things sticking out of it that make it look furry. Alot of stuff on google says it could be a centipede but all the pictures of centipedes look way bigger than this thing. It does look like it has alot of legs or maybe thats just the furry things sticking out of it. I'm not sure but it's super freaky.
