Advice from appliance repairman or electrician (bypassing relay switch)?

I have a Kenmore stack able washer and dryer, the washer lid strike has broke and will take a week for delivery, is there a way to bypass this relay switch? 2 wires one black and white and one red and white, what happens is the cycle would not complete due to this broken switch.
