Is it normal for the inside of an electric dryer to glow orange?

somewhere in your dryer there will be a heating element or flames depending on if it is gas or electric. (either one will glow orange when hot) you can go to Walgreen's and get a lint remover fairly cheap and do it yourself. be sure to check outside to make sure the vents are not blocked and check the tube from the back of your dryer to the outside, make sure it is all clear from lint.
