Replaced capacitor on heat pump...?

There is one capacitor responsible for starting the fan motor. I would think that this is the one replaced. These are subject to failure, however there is no way to predict when. Trying to keep an old unit going versus buying a new one is not always a good idea. Older units are inefficient therefore use much more electricity than a newer one would for the same amount of cooling.
