Is anyone else having trouble with ethanol gasoline?

My lawn mower is giving a lot of trouble and a repairman has told me that the ethanol additives in gas are messing up the carburetors. What can be done? I am having trouble finding "pure" gasoline. I have also found out that this ethanol thing has the price of food, especially popcorn, going up. Is this another environmental thing that has backfired? Everyone must write their congressman about this.
